TAV Creations began creating dance costumes shortly after beginning to study dance. The awareness of how the body needs to be able to move, the effect of lighting on fabrics, the differences of stage and interactive performances, all have helped in the way that these costumes are produced.
In 2004, TAV Creations helped the Taylor School of Irish Dance design their Irish dance dresses, creating the pattern so that moms who sew can make their own dresses, and moms who cannot are still able to call upon Tracey when their daughter needs a dress for an upcoming show.
Special attention goes to belly dance costuming in many ways - with the glitter and sparkle of the fabrics used, the beading, sequins, and fringes added to complete the ensembles. The costumes need to be durable and yet look elegant, a compromise that TAV Creations achieves with years of experience.
Every piece is unique and designed to flatter the dancer's style, figure and personality.
The process to have a dance costume made by TAV Creations follows the same path as all custom sewing. The portfolio area shows a glimpse into some of the detailed dance costume pieces created by TAV Creations.
