This one day workshop will focus on exploring the basics of moving to the rhythms of belly dance. Learn a variety of shimmies, isolations, techniques that accent the beats, and put it all together in a drum solo choreography. Open to dancers of all levels, some dance experience will help.
Come dressed for the occasion and be prepared to learn a whole new perspective on muscle control, music appreciation and the detailed information you can use to share the joy of belly dance with those around you!
