BELLY DANCING BASICS with Halyma
This afternoon workshop will focus on exploring the basics of belly dancing with an emphasis on connecting to the spiritual side of belly dance through movements and finding one’s natural rhythm. Some drumming and dancing will be explored and played with.
12:30-1:00 Registration
1:00-3:00 p.m. Basic Technique with rhythm focus:
3:00-4:00 p.m. Dancing with the influence of the elements: We explore the elements of earth, air, fire and water and using those energies when dancing.
4-5 p.m. MIni Bazaar
Open to dancers of all levels; some dance experience will help. Come dressed in comfortable clothes / dance wear.
Mini Bazaar to follow workshop. Cash and Credit card payments will be accepted for purchases.
