Teacher wanted for fall 2012:
Sir Guy High School in the evenings and I am looking for a Belly dance Instructor or other dance. If you know of any one that would be interested, if you can have them contact me by e-mail at isabelle.gulli@ocdsb.ca or by phone at 613-224-2547 or 613-596-8211 ext 8153.
The classes are to start in the Fall 2012 and are programs are due by May 10th.
Hawaiian Princess needed:
The mom, wishes to have a Hawain princess show up do a "gig" for a birthday party for girls in the age group of 5-6 year olds. and teach them some dance moves for an hour or so. The dance event will take place in Orleans.
It would be June 2nd in the afternoon, probably 1:15-2:30/2:45PM TBC
Some music, surf guitar (the husband) and possibly ukulele
If it's nice outside: slip & slide, bubbles
A ring toss game & maybe hula hoops
Cake, fruit & veggies and some Hawaiian inspired nibblies
It would be great if you could be our "Hawaiian princess" and help get the kids into their leis and grass skirts, maybe some temporary tattoos. We'd like a little performance and teaching the kids hula, how to say Aloha... It would be fun to have a little hula contest, maybe best hula but if you have any ideas let me know. Then we'd let the kids have free play while we set up the cake. I think we`d just need you until the Happy Birthday song and that`s it.
